Just a quick life update from us. We are two days away from the end of our TWW and have been throwing ourselves into anything to distract us. That has included a trip to Wales, which we’ll share in a post shortly! All out latest going on’s are on our Instagram Stories if you want to keep up!
It was also a nice surprise to receive a nomination for Teletext Holiday’s ‘Best Travel With Kids’ Blog. it’s an area we want to focus on more within the blog and the nomination is nice confirmation that we are going in the right direction.
If Covid hadn’t hit we had big plans but we are hoping that at least some of them will be repeatable in the future.
If you to want read more about the other nominations check out Teletext Holidays site here.

Why Should We Win?
From New York to Newquay, Bergen to Brighton, Glasgow to Gran Canaria, we have made sure to expose our daughter to travel since she was born in 2018. We love the UK (even more since COVID) and spend our weekends exploring areas local to us and on mini breaks to visit new destinations. However, every year we try to make 4 foreign trips as we want to make sure our daughter grows up knowing more about the world around us. On the blog and our Instagram we have shared tips about how to deal with long-haul flights with a baby and posts on what we have experienced on the trips we have made. We often get asked for recommendations and find that our online community has shared great ideas for things to see or do wherever we go!
Our Proudest Achievements Over the Past Year
Our biggest travel achievement was that we were invited to work with Visit Baltimore City on a family friendly travel guide on our blog. While visiting family in the USA we asked for recommendations on where to visit and Visit Baltimore got in touch. We were gifted a VIP Pass to the city’s top attractions in order to create the guide. Working with the team to identify the best attractions to visit with our young daughter – our family highlights being the aquarium and train museum as well as the harbour side area. Heading off the beaten track we also explored the local graffiti artist work (our daughter LOVED the colours) and to Hampden, which has an alternative and LGBT culture and so much going on. Visit Baltimore were really happy with our contribution and shared our content on their social media.
